FMJ is a professional-grade graphene-infused ceramic coating developed to support surface durability, chemical resistance, and long-term maintenance performance on modern automotive clear coats. When applied to correctly prepared paintwork, it forms a dense protective layer designed to reduce environmental contamination and assist with wash-related wear under real-world driving conditions.

FMJ represents the most performance-focused coating within the OptiX Nano range, developed for experienced installers seeking elevated gloss intensity and structured chemical resistance in controlled application environments. It is formulated to prioritise finish sharpness, surface clarity and installation precision rather than entry-level usability.

FMJ is formulated with an emphasis on coating stability and controlled bonding, making it best suited to professional installers and experienced users who understand correct surface preparation and application technique. While the coating contains reduced graphene oxide (rGO), it remains fundamentally a SiO₂-based ceramic coating, with graphene incorporated to support consistency and coating behaviour rather than to deliver exaggerated performance claims.

Rather than acting as a cosmetic, short-term enhancement, FMJ is intended to operate as part of a structured paint protection system. Long-term results depend on preparation quality, application control, and disciplined aftercare. Like all surface coatings, FMJ does not make paint scratch-proof and will show wear over time if subjected to poor washing practices or harsh chemical exposure.

FMJ is compatible with modern OEM and refinished clear coats and may be applied to exterior paint, wheels, and glass. It can also be used alongside paint protection film (PPF) as part of a layered protection approach where physical impact protection is required.

Realistic Expectations

FMJ provides measurable resistance to chemical exposure and environmental contamination, but it does not prevent stone chips, deep scratches, or mechanical damage. Ceramic and graphene coatings should be viewed as maintenance and surface protection tools, not as physical shields.

For impact protection or abrasion resistance beyond coating limits, paint protection film (PPF) should be considered.

Maintenance & Aftercare

Correct aftercare is critical to ensure FMJ continues to perform as intended.

  • Wash using pH-neutral automotive shampoos and clean microfiber wash media

  • Avoid abrasive chemicals, aggressive tools, or harsh drying techniques

  • Remove corrosive contaminants such as bird droppings, insects, and tree sap promptly

  • Use compatible maintenance products to support surface behaviour over time

  • Where possible, limit prolonged exposure to harsh environmental conditions

Ongoing maintenance has a greater influence on coating performance than the coating itself.

Application Essentials

FMJ should be applied only to correctly prepared surfaces.

  • FMJ graphene ceramic coating

  • Multiple clean microfiber cloths

  • Microfiber or foam applicator

  • Protective gloves

FMJ is recommended for professional installers and advanced users with experience in coating application.
